For those of you who haven't seen it yet, this is the promo Christian Kane and Tim Hutton did in Portland earlier this year. It also features Drew Powell (Hurley), Dale Comstock, Silas Weir Mitchell (from Grimm), and Emmanuelle Vaugier (Jasmine in Second Hand Lions). Kane is in a beater, he's tied to a chair, and they get him wet. It's a triple win. :)

I teach History at a university here in Ohio. I'd prefer not to say which one, in case one of my students happen to stumble across my LJ. I majored in both English and History as an undergrad, but I did my Master's work in History. God-willing, I'll go back to get my PhD next year.

I'm also a freelance writer, mostly of fiction. You may see me whining about deadlines or stalled plots from time to time, but I generally tend to not talk about my "civilian" writing career. My fanfic, though. That I babble on about all the time.

I have a few pet peeves, most of them driving-related. Also, I get turned off by cheaters, know-it-alls, people who refuse to use lj-cut for spoilers, sycophants, homophobes, fandom wank, and rich text format.
