I've been up since 11 PM last night, and I'm bushed. I didn't get much sleep the night before, because I had a meeting and three EARLY discussion sections the next day. I wound up passing out on my couch around 4 or 5 in the afternoon and didn't regain consciousness until 11. After that, I had a bunch of adminstrative things to finish, so I wound up staying up. AND I had my in-class evaluation today. We were set to talk about abortion, and I show up to find a class comprised entirely of guys. Okay, one female did show up later, but initially, I was a little concerned. Actually, though, the men did well. They had more to say on the topic than did some of the women in other classes.

In other news, I have a full thesis committee now, so I need to get my proposal to my thesis advisor so I can write this summer. No pressure.

I'm rereading the Harry Potter books. Right now, I'm in OotP, and I'm picking up on all sorts of little details I missed on my initial read. I still don't care for Harry's emo attitude the whole book, though.

I'm feeling a little wired, because I'm exhausted, but wide awake. I tried to nap earlier, but to no avail. Fortunately, I'm off tomorrow, so I can chill.

What else? I still haven't watched last night's CSI. I was too busy sleeping. Thank God for DVRs. I'll probably watch it after I finish this.

Oh, one of the students claimed to know someone who has had TEN abortions! Is that even physically possible? I would think there would be some sort of scar tissue after so many.

I love the Avett Brothers.
