Okay, there are SO many reasons I love this episode. Where do I start?

First of all, let's talk about Eliot and Hardison and their little adventure. Hardison may go overboard when he is doing a con, but Eliot was freaking internalizing the part of that cop once he stuck on that uniform. He was bound and determined to answer that domestic disturbance call, and even take the prisoner into custody. I'm sure a psychiatrist would have a FIELD DAY with what that says about him. I'm fascinated in learning his backstory. How does a man with such an obvious set of ethical standards and a respect for duty and authority wind up becoming a criminal? I have my theories, but it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

And Eliot's interaction with Hardison was WIN. From the hand smacking to the bickering to the "come on and do it already" flirting, they were rocking it tonight. And seriously, the sexual tension between them lately has been pretty epic. Am I right? Yes, I speak with slash-colored glasses, but WOW.

And Eliot's interaction with Parker at the beginning made me LOL! "How old are you?" "Ghostbusters!" "Wow. Again?" :D

There were some nice Nate and Sophie moments. I liked her smoothing out his jacket before he went up to con Vector. And I know Nate got played at the end by the Italian, but damn he was sexy in that suit. I wonder what the fallout of Nate's decision to go after Moreau will be, especially given what Christian Kane has said about Eliot in the upcoming episodes.

Lots of good team interaction overall. I loved Sophie's little jab at Eliot: "You sit alone in your room and watch hockey fights?" "Yeah. You never know when you'll need to fight a guy on ice." In so many ways, he and Parker are a lot alike. I mean, that's no different than Parker checking out security systems on the weekend. In any case, it was good to see Sophie and Eliot interact, as I've missed that. We didn't get much, but it was still good to see.

Parker's part in the con was fun and cute. Okay, it was creepy, but her mental preparation for it and Nate's pep talk ("Don't stab.") were fun and cute. &hearts She's actually getting pretty good. (And HELLO ALICE WHITE!) And I love that they had McSweetin return (and that they told us where Taggart was). I was a little worried they were going to kill McSweetin off there in the courthouse, but he got more career help from "Hagen" at the end.

Okay, now the Nate/Eliot shipper in me has a few things to say. First of all, I'm glad they showed Nate's nondescript bedroom. Now I know what I'm describing when I set a story there. ;) But seriously, HE KEEPS A HARNESS IN HIS BEDROOM?!?!?! I love you, Nate. That will surely wind up in fanfic. And Eliot sounded pretty freaked out when he heard the gunfire. I mean really freaked out. Not only were his people in trouble, but I also wonder if the fact that gunfire was involved put him on edge a little more? I don't know.

So much more to say about this episode. I am LAMENTING the fact that we have SUCH a long wait until hiatus is over. WOE! D: D:
