Don't spill Eliot's coffee, lol.

They're getting a little more open about sharing info with the clients, aren't they? Hmmm... I get that they want to protect her, but a magician doesn't reveal his secrets if he wants to keep doing the trick. Not smart, guys.

Plus, we get it. Parker likes Hardison. They didn't need to keep dangling Mary Sue Ashley in front of us to remind us of that. *grumble* I don't mind the occasional subtext moment, but I'm uncomfortable with the level of couples stuff we're getting this season. Couples nonsense doesn't belong in team-oriented shows, because it degrades the dynamic of the team. Want to make me loathe a pairing, writers? Do this.

Case in point: Eliot, why are they wasting you? Seriously, beyond being a glorified bodyguard, he hasn't had much to do. One of the things I always loved about him is that they played him against type. But where are the subtle bits of characterization this season? Where is the multi-dimensional guy we've grown to love? Where the hell is his storyline? He doesn't have one, and you know why? Because he isn't one-half on a couple.

The couples nonsense isn't fair to Eliot, nor is it fair to the other four, whose identities are now primarily tied up in coupledom.

Still, there were some nice Eliot/Hardison moments this episode. At least Eliot gets to interact with someone on a regular basis. I remember back in the day when they hung out as a team and stuff. A sat around on Nate's couch. And ate apples and cereal and gummy frogs. I miss those days.

And what's this about the others not liking Nate? That's news. I mean, they might still be kind of pissed at him, but now they don't like him? I do like it when Sophie shows some balls, though. Rawr! Sexy grifter.

I guess it's safe to say that Nate is still off the rails. O_o I worry for his safety.

"Someone a little more dangerous." Eliot's face was priceless, lol. At least he gets some humorous scenes. And I loved Nate's teasing: "You alright, Eliot? You need time to shake it off?" LOL! Right there. We need more of that.

Wow, Nate is jumpy. Prison has changed him.

And so we end on Mary Sue, Parker's jealousy, and no team.

Next week had better give me the Eliot stuff I've been waiting for and not ONE HINT OF COUPLES STUFF.

*nods*
