sherydenSo it looks like I'm going to go see Transformers 2 with Jessica and Jenny tomorrow. Neither Jenny nor I have seen the first one, so we're going over to Jessica's to have dinner and watch that. Then, we're going to go off to see new one. I'm supposed to bring dessert, so I wound up punking out and just getting cookies. Lame, I know. I really intended to bake something, but I just couldn't settle on anything that sounded good, as well as portable. I guess the cookies are fine. The only requirement was "anything chocolate." :)
It's been storming on and off four a couple of hours. I hope it's done for the night. I'd like to get some writing done.
Speaking of writing, I need to get a couple of things sent out. They're ready to go, but I have to buy a new cable thing for my printer. I have one story that is definitely ready, as well as two-three poems. Poetry isn't my primary genre, but these came out okay. I have at least three other stories that are almost there. One has been driving me crazy. It's the ending... I think the ending is too... cute, and that's not what I want for the story. I kind of prefer writing pieces when I have a deadline, because it forces me to let go. If I'm just sending them out, I tend to hold on too long and over-critique myself.
I'm thinking of making some more chocolate chip pancakes. They're addictive, I tell you! I had some last night while I lazed around and read LOST fanfic.
