So what does everyone think about the casting news for Thor? I figured people would be talking about it, but I haven't seen anyone posting anything (though I might have missed something...if so, link me). I like the casting news a lot and am looking forward to the movie more now than before. I can't comment too much on the guy playing Loki. I'm not familiar with him, but as for Thor, I'm pretty excited. For those of you who have seen Star Trek, he played Kirk's dad. He has a good look for the role.
This is much better news than Scarlett Johanssen as Black Widow.
Oh, and I just noticed that the linked article doesn't point this out, but Odin has been cast, too. He'll be played by Brian Blessed.
I'm hoping they cast Captain America soon, because if I hear one more "Will Smith as Cap" rumor, I might have a fit.
And in unrelated, but equally epic news... I made an apple pie!
