Heroes--One of Us, One of Them

Noah and Sylar: Okay, I'm most definitely not a fan of Sylar, but as a partner to Noah, he was kind of amusing. The actors have chemistry with each other, and it's good to see Noah back in action again. I'm so over Sylar and his "hunger," though. Enough already. It's becoming a caricature. But Noah? He's still awesomecakes.

Tracy and Micah: Right, so Tracy is one of several? Hmmm... Still, I was relatively happy with her encounter with Micah. I was concerned that the kid would be all melodramatic, but he handled encountering a woman who looked like his mother really well. I felt bad for the kid, though. Where the heck was the rest of his family? I hope they don't plan to waste this Micah, because he's a solid character.

Matt and African!Isaac: I'm a little bummed that the African's powers are so much like the ones Isaac had. Still, I really like his personality. The fact that he's been painting Matt's life since he was a kid is pretty creepy, though. And in the pictures where Matt was with a woman. Was that Daphne? I couldn't tell.

Hiro, Ando, and Daphne: Hiro is becoming a caricature of himself, too. Jason and I were talking about this one day, and he said one of his problems is that the writers haven't evolved Hiro beyond the wide-eyed newbie stage. I have to agree with that. They're still writing him like he's Season One!Hiro, but he should have grown into something more by now. In any case, he's annoying the hell out of me already, and I'm pretty much convinced that either 1) Hiro creates a self-fulfilling prophesy by turning Ando against him or 2) Ando was the good guy all along, and Hiro was the villain. I like option two best, partially because I'm finding Hiro so freaking annoying, and I want Ando to have ample reason to kick his ass. Daphne is okay as a character, but I haven't made any concrete decisions.

Sandra and Bio!Mom: Sandra rocks, I'm telling you. She's an amazing character, and I loved watching her smack down Claire's Bio Hazard. And wow, was that Lyle with lines???

Claire: She needs to be bitch-slapped. She's gone from being a reasonably good character to a snotty whiner. No, you can't feel pain. No, you're not normal. Get the fuck over it.

The Bad Guys: So, that was over quick. Lame. This is yet another reason I'm sick of Sylar. We get some decent villains, and we lose one of them, because Sylar is "hungry." And they killed the Magneto!Clone. Magnetism is one of the coolest powers ever, and they wasted it on a one-off.

The Haitian: "Am I being replaced?" Aw, was that jealousy I saw? At least Noah reassured him.

Next week: Was that Mr. Muggles I saw??? Yay!
