Here's a fun new meme I've never done before. I snagged it from some random person I don't know, but I do that quite often.

Go to the AFI 100 Years, 100 Movies List and answer the following questions:

1) Your favorite 5 movies that are on the list:
Casablanca
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
ET: The Extra-Terrestrial
Star Wars
Raiders of the Lost Ark

Honorable mentions go to about 40% of the list. Great movies.

2) 5 3 movies on the list that you didn't like at all:
Jaws
The Birth of a Nation
Mutiny on the Bounty

3) 5 movies on the list you haven't seen but want to:
Midnight Cowboy
Network (I can't believe I haven't seen this.)
The Manchurian Candidate (Never seen the original.)
The Apartment
Amadeus

4) 5 movies on the list that you haven't seen and have no interest in seeing:
Silence of the Lambs
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Annie Hall
Stagecoach
Shane

As you can see, I'm not a fan of Westerns. I probably have seen the last two, but I don't remember well enough to say for sure.

5) Your favorite 5 movies that aren't on the list:
Stargate
Sabrina
Key Largo
Brokeback Mountain
Arsenic and Old Lace

There are a TON of movies not on the list that surprise me. Jimmy Stewart isn't well represented at all (in my opinion). And in my opinion, In the Heat of the Night should be on the list, as should Lillies of the Field, Jurassic Park, and others.
