Big Doctor Who/Torchwood/SJA survey

sherydenI snagged this from some person I don't know. I admit that I tweaked it a little, because the original asked a few really hair-splitting questions. That, and most of it was broken into 3a. 3b. That made my head hurt.
1. When did you start watching Doctor Who and why? I started watching back in the early 80s. I got into the show because my dad was a fan.
2. What was your first serial/episode? I don't know. That was years ago. It was probably something with Tom Baker.
3. What is your favorite episode/serial? As far as Classic Who, it's "Castrovalva." As far as New Who, it's probably "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances."
4. Which Doctor is your favorite? Least favorite? My favorites are Ten and Five. As for least favorites, I like all the Doctors, but the one I'm least interested in is Three (Pertwee).
5. Which TV companion is your favorite? Donna, Jack, Jamie, Sarah Jane, Tegan, Nyssa, and K-9
6. Which TV companion is your least favorite? Mel
7. Have you read any of the novels? No, should I?
8. Which is your favorite? See above
9. Do you watch Torchwood? Of course I do!
10. What is your favorite episode? Probably "Fragments," "Countrycide," and "Captain Jack Harkness"
11. Who is your favorite character? Ianto Jones
12. Who is your least favorite character? Gwen, when she's mooning over Jack. When she's acting all cute with Rhys or acting all bad ass with the Daleks, I like her. But pushing her at me as Jack's version of Rose? Plz no.
13. Have you read any of the novels? I'm planning to soon. How can I resist a female Ianto in Almost Perfect?
14. Which is your favorite? See above
15. Do you watch The Sarah Jane Adventures? I've seen some of them.
16. What is your favorite episode/serial? I've only seen two serials, so I don't feel like I can judge.
17. Who is your favorite character? Sarah Jane
18. Who is your least favorite character? Don't know.
19. Have you read any of the novels? No, and I doubt I will.
20. Which is your favorite? See above
21. Do you own any merchandise from the shows? Only DVDs.
22. Do you like Russell T. Davies? I do. He has his faults, obviously, but Who fans do have a lot to thank him for.
23. Steven Moffat? I love him quite a lot.
24. Paul Cornell? I like him.
25. Best Who-universe planets? It's late, and I'm sleepy, so right now, all I can come up with is Midnight.
26. Best Who-universe villains? I have to say I'm partial to the Daleks. I still remember the look on the Seventh Doctor's face during this scene. Eek! A hovering Dalek!
27. What do you think of "the Doctor is half-human" controversy? I wasn't aware it was a controversy until recently. I'm fine with it, but I'd like to see it brought up.
28. The Face of Boe controversy? I refuse to believe Jack will end up as the Face of Boe.
29. Multi-Doctor episodes? They're brilliant!
30. What’s your favourite Doctor Who technobabble? "A blob of timey-wimey, wibbly wobbly stuff"
31. Have you watched other TV shows because of the presence of Doctor Who actors? Yep
32. Have you met any of the actors? No
33. Traveled to any filming locations? No
34. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular? Well, I don't think Rose is anything special. I also firmly believe that the Doctor does have sex.
35. What’s your favorite pairing in any of the shows? Jack/Ianto, Jack/Ten, Rhys/Gwen, Tegan/Nyssa, Two/Jamie
36. What pairing(s) won’t you touch with a really long pole? Jack/Gwen. Sorry kids.
37. Do you write fanfic for the shows? I haven't written for this fandom yet, but I'd like to someday.
