I've been sick and dragging all day, so I'm behind in comments. I'll try to catch up tomorrow. :(
Anyway, here are some fun memes:
Yeah, this is pretty accurate.
1. Who’s your all-time favorite author, and why? Raymond Carver, because I love the way he paints a raw picture of humanity. His prose is simple, yet eloquent, and I feel like I've experienced something when I've finished reading his work.
2. Who was your first favorite author, and why? Do you still consider him or her among your favorites? Madeline L'Engle, and yes, I still love her work. She's the author of the Wrinkle in Time series.
3. Who’s the most recent addition to your list of favorite authors, and why? Well, he's not a brand new addition, but Dennis Lehane is one I picked up in the past few years.
4. If someone asked you who your favorite authors were right now, which authors would first pop out of your mouth? Are there any you’d add on a moment of further reflection? The ones that would first pop out of my mouth are Raymond Carver, Bobbie Ann Mason, Tim O'Brien, and Dennis Lehane. Upon further reflection, I should add John Cheever, Louise Erdich, John Updike, Kate Chopin, and Edgar Allen Poe.
5. Tagged: Whoever wants to do it.
