The Cat is Traumatized

The cat was chilling lazily in the living room, and then, her poor world was shaken. We had a cookout today, and the cousin brought his dog and four-year-old stepdaughter over. So the kitty hauled tail to the basement and hid for a while. She's just decided to come up and see if it was safe again. Poor thing. The last couple of times, she was hissing at everyone, and the first time she "met" the dog, she was so traumatized she wouldn't eat her salmon.
