sherydenSo last night, my cousin and her husband came to town, and we went to my other cousin's art show. He's doing computer-generated stuff, and it's pretty good. He might do an album cover for some local rockers.
Before the show, a few of us went out for Mexican. So good.
After the art gallery, we went out to a club to watch some live music. It was like a mini-family reunion, because 6 or 7 of cousins (and their mates, lovers, or platonic friends) came out. I danced with some quiet guy and some chick who wanted to feel everyone up. The bands were actually good. One band had a kick-ass drummer who did a kick-ass drum solo.
Part of the night is a little blurry, but I had a great time. I haven't had so much fun in eons. We're all going out karaoking for my birthday next week.
Oh, and my cousin brought pics of her kids. The 8-year old boy is a little Don Juan. He's going to a dance with a set of twins! When I was 8, I was playing freeze tag with the kids down the street.
