sherydenThis picspam was done for the Picspam Challenge at caperland. I chose to focus on my favorite character. So no one will be surprised by the subject matter of this picspam. If you are surprised, you don't know me very well. ;)
An Eliot Spencer Picspam

So why I love Eliot? I suppose in a way it's all Harrison Ford's fault. He's the one who played Han Solo and turned a ten-year old me onto bad boys with hearts of gold. Fast forward to me as an adult, and I'm still enamored by bad boys with hearts of gold. Eliot Spencer is definitely a bad boy--a former soldier and retrieval specialist with very specialized skills. He's also got a lot of compassion deep down inside that gruff exterior.
Plus, he's quite pretty. Look at that smile. And that backside. And those arms. And the hair. The man has better hair than I do.
Of course, since I'm a fangirl for bad boys, I love a good fight scene. And boy do we get some good fight scenes. He fights in kitchens, airport hangers, bars, clothing factories. You name it. And one of the best things? He never uses a gun. Sure, he'll use a mannequin or knife or in emergencies, an appetizer. But not a gun.
"Did you just kill a guy with an appetizer?"
"I don't know. Maybe."
Plus, he has backstory. We're learning bits and pieces about Eliot as the show progresses. He almost married his high school sweetheart. &hearts But she dumped him for another guy after he disappeared to do a job. :( We know he's been captured and tortured and all sorts of hinky things. We also know he has loads of people after him.
Fortunately, Eliot has a lot of disguises. ;) Geek, baseball player, "fashiony" personal assistant, fighter. Eliot has concocted some of the best alter-egos out of anyone on the team. And he rocks the guyliner.
And then there's Eliot the miner, Eliot as Doctor Abernathy (an ID he's apparently been carrying around for a while), and Eliot the cop. Eliot takes his duties as a fake cop seriously. He even makes Hardison go on calls to bust up domestic disturbances.
Plus, Eliot has many skills. He can speak several languages, play guitar and sing, ride a horse, cook a gourmet dinner, and he's great with kids. So what's not the love? Yeah, I think this bad boy with a heart of gold fixation is here to stay.
