Okey-dokey, [profile] eternal_flyers gave me this icon meme a while ago, so here be it:

1. Reply to this post, & I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including this info) & talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

This is from Merlin, obviously, and it was made by [personal profile] batgurl88. I picked it because I think it's ridiculously funny... I think it's highlights, in a fun way, the somewhat arbitrary (as I see it) nature of Uther's rule. I use it when I'm being random or absurd.

This is Cyclops, AKA Scott Summers from the X-Men. The scene in the icon is from Joss Whedon's run on the book, and I love the icon because it is SO true. Scott gets a lot of flack for being a douche, and he kind of is a douche. But he's also a damn fine X-Men, and he's proven in the past that he can take out six guys with his eyes closed. Literally. The icon was made by [profile] bleeding_muse.

This was made by one of my favorite icon makers, [personal profile] casett. I kind of ship Uther/Gaius, and this icon makes me smile. I kind of see Uther/Gaius as an older version of Merlin and Arthur, but with a load of emotional baggage.

This was made by [personal profile] ellymelly. I love Tesla (from Sanctuary), and I love humor. This fits both criteria. It captures Tesla's irreverence and snark. I use it a lot when I'm feeling irreverent or snarky. o_O

I like dark, moody, starkly beautiful scenes, and I love statues and castles and stuff. This reminds me of Simon Marsden's work a little, though it's not quite as atmospheric as his work. I don't know who the photographer is here, but the icon is by [personal profile] meathiel. It's a good all-purpose icon, and it reminds me of the beauty of simple things.

This is by [personal profile] sallymn. It's from the SG-1 episode where they all go to Russia, and Deanna Troi is there (well, the actress), and Harry Maybourne locks himself in a freezer to protect himself from some alien thingy. I think it's hysterical, and I like to use it when I'm throwing my hands up in the air because life isn't going as expected.
