Doctor Who--Fires of Pompeii

* I'm liking the brother-sister vibe Donna and the Doctor have going on. It works for them.

* The scene where the soothsayers were hurling out factoids about Donna and the Doctor was creepy. I like that the Doctor seemed creeped out a bit himself.

* Fighting off the bad guys with a water pistol! The Doctor owns!

* Good grief. He caused Pompeii. What a burden for him to cart around.

* Donna's reaction to the events were perfectly understandable, and I'm glad she's there to nudge the Doctor's humanity from time to time. I wasn't sure if I'd like her as a companion, but I'm finding that a do a little more each time I see her.

* I'm glad the family survived, but the fact that Donna and the Doctor are now their household gods was...uncomfortable.
