Bob Marley: Bob Marley is one of my favorite reggae singers. He and his band the Wailers pretty much took reggae into the mainstream, and a lot of his music protested problems in Jamaica. Some of his songs include "Stir it Up," "No Woman, No Cry," and "Could You Be Loved."
Cold War: The Cold War is my main area of study in history. I grew up during it, and it fascinates me.
Gambit: A sexy, Southern superhero famous for throwing kinetically charged playing cards. Think Sawyer from Lost with superpowers.
Han/Leia: This was my first OTP--Han Solo and Princess Leia. They're romantic without being mushy, and they have some of the best scenes in movie history.
Mr. Muggles: Mr. Muggles is the Bennet's dog on Heroes. He's a poofy little Pomeranian showdog who actually gets a lot of airtime.
Ohio history: I'm from Ohio, so I'm interested in Ohio's history. It's actually quite diverse and interesting. Quite a few American presidents are from Ohio.
small towns: I grew up in a small town, and I find them fascinating. A lot of my original fiction takes place in small towns. They're kind of like families, but at the same time, they can be like cages.

Carson/Rodney: Carson Beckett and Rodney McKay from Stargate: Atlantis. They're adorable best friends.
Burn Gorman: Burn Gorman is the actor who plays Owen Harper on Torchwood (British sci-fi). He's kind of odd-looking, but he's a kick-ass actor.
Kavan Smith: He's my favorite guy. He's got dark hair and blue eyes and a strong jaw. You know my type. ;) He plays Major Evan Lorne on Stargate: Atlantis.
Michael Shanks: Another hot guy. He plays Daniel Jackson on Stargate: SG-1.
Ronon Dex: Ronon Dex is a character on Stargate: Atlantis. He's played by Jason Momoa, a Hawaiian actor who's like 6'4'' tall. Yummy.
Teyla Emmagen: Another character from Stargate: Atlantis. She's manages to be a strong, beautiful woman but still feminine.
Mr. Muggles: Mr. Muggles is the Bennet's dog on Heroes. He's a poofy little Pomeranian showdog who actually gets a lot of airtime.

Folk music: I love folk music. My family is from the Appalachian Mountains, so I grew up listening to stuff like that. I rediscovered it as an adult. I enjoy musicians like Richard Schindell.
The Sixties: What a great time period! I love the music, the conflict, the movies. This is one of the primary time periods I research in history.
Universal Monsters: We're talking the early Dracula, Wolf Man, Frankenstein, and Creature from the Black Lagoon movies from the 30s-50s. They started actors like Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. They're campy and cool.
Williamsburg: I'm considering getting my PhD at William and Mary, which is in Williamsburg. It's a cool town, especially the part dedicated to Colonial history.
