Torchwood--Dead Man Walking

* Jack, you dumbass. You bitch at Ianto for keeping his cyber-girlfriend in the basement, and then you go and zombify Owen.

* Burn Gorman was fantastic in this episode. He just blew me away. There were so many sides to Owen represented here: he was a man who was trying to make peace with death; a doctor who was trying to give a sick boy courage to fight death, while realizing that he had the same power to hang onto life; he was a man trying to connect the fragments of his personal life, because he might not get a chance again; and he was a scared child who cried in his Captain's arms.

* The Owen/Tosh interaction made me warm and fuzzy. I love that they're kind of circling each other, trying to figure out how to handle their relationship, especially in light of Owen's condition. I'm glad Owen kissed her, because that shows that he either feels something for Tosh, or he at least recognizes what she feels.

* "Are we going to act on something she googled?" WIN!

* "And here we go again." WIN!

* Not enough Ianto. While I liked his muted reactions to the goings on, I still wanted him to have a personal moment with someone. He could have comforted Tosh.

* I actually liked Gwen in this. I'm pleased that the writers finally gave a nod to the Owen/Gwen relationship. For whatever reason, they shared something once, and Owen's situation was difficult for Gwen to handle. The hug between them was genuinely touching--two friends, ex-lovers sharing a moment. Also, I love that she reached out to Rhys for comfort.

* Best part of the show? No confusing Jack/Gwen scenes.
