Yay! I just got my Leverage Exchange assignment, and I love it! \o/

Also, I'm thinking of redoing my intro post. It needs spruced up a bit.

Now I must think about dragging my butt out for some food and sunshine. *looks outside* Or food at least, lol.

Random thoughts

1. I'm a little sad to see that thebigbangjob, which I've been waiting for since I missed the signups last year, is probably going to be a Reverse Big Bang. I already have my story planned out, so if it's a Reverse Big Bang, I probably won't be able to participate. :/ That's a bummer, because I've been waiting so long to participate.

2. I've devoured most of Justified and love it. I seem to have decided that Eliot and Raylan are cousins. It's my personal canon now.

3. I want to take a vacation this year--I've pretty much decided that I will make time for a vacation. I never make any time for myself, and dammit, I'm going to do it this year. I'd like to go to a con, but the timing never seems to work out for me. I'll probably be teaching my last day of classes the first day of Con-1. Le sigh. Maybe I'll visit family in Savannah or North Carolina or wait to see if Chris is doing any tour dates after filming wraps later this year.

4. I have pretty much decided on the basics for my Leverage Exchange story. :D

5. When I was out yesterday, I picked up the first book in The Dresden Files series. Everyone has been pimping it to me, so I'm excited to read it. I also picked up a CD from Steve Earle and the Del McCoury Band. I'm guessing that most of you haven't heard of either Steve Earle or Del McCoury, but the CD is amazing!

6. It's actually kind of a nice day out. It was good to go outside and encounter sunshine instead of digit-numbing cold.

7. I have some other stuff on my mind, but I'll save it for the next post. I just don't like even-numbered lists. They creep me out.
