Writer's Block: Collector's piece

I collect all sorts of things. When I was a teenager, I collected hockey cards. I still have a ton of them. I also collected Star Wars and A-Team cards, as well as comic book cards. I have most of them in boxes, but some of the comic book cards I have arranged in nice books.

Although I am not actively buying comic books, I have a substantial collection from over the years. I probably have a mint invested in boards and bags and boxes to keep them in good condition. I collect them for the entertainment and sentimental value, btw. It makes me laugh my ass off to see non-comic readers stroll into comic shops to buy comics, because they consider them a savvy investment. LOL!

I also collect railroad memorabilia, as my dad worked on the railroad. I have some of his old stuff from the job, as well as the collection of memorabilia he had accumulated before he died.

And I collect Coca-Cola memorabilia, biographies of RFK, and teddy bears.

AND, I collect DVD box sets and sci-fi-related stuff. When it comes to sci-fi memorabilia, I have mostly Star Trek stuff and stuff from the original V.

Trying to figure out what to wear to my friend's wedding tomorrow. Why do none of my dressier clothes fit?!?!*

Sendhil

It says something about the state of Heroes when I was relieved to find out that my last reason for hanging on--Sendhil Ramamurthy--has officially left the show. The show died for me last season anyway, but this way, I won't be lulled into watching it if they keep soldiering on.

Sendhil has apparently been cast in the USA show Covert Affairs. Looks promising! Good cast. I like Christopher Gorham, and Piper Perabo is hot and has the potential to be a badass female character.

A thinkie thought

It would interest me greatly to see Nathan Ford and Eliot Spencer (and heck, they can bring the rest of the team) interact with Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson. Yes? Yes, it would be fabulous.
