Midterm Duldrums

We started Archaic Greece today, and class went okay, but I'll admit that I expected more questions from them. It's one of my most favorite things to teach. I think everyone has the midterm duldrums this week, though. I know I'm not sleeping, and the students looked just as tired. Hopefully they'll wake up when I do the Athens versus Sparta stuff on Thursday. This stuff is probably going to figure into the exam, and I'm adding a lot of info that isn't in the book. Notes are going to be paramount.

NCIS (Spoilers) and rampant insomnia

I'm going to have to crash early tonight. I'm exhausted, and I feel like I've only been marginally awake the past few days. I did some retail therapy today and got some aromatherapy stuff from Bath and Body Works. We'll see if that helps me relax a bit.
