Musical thinkies
Sep. 20th, 2008 01:55 amI've come to several musical conclusions lately:
1) When I hear "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles, all is right with the world.
2) Glenn Frey and Don Henley sound as good as they always did.
3) I still get a little turned on when I see Don Henley sitting behind a drum kit.
4) When I see old clips of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks together on stage, I still get shivers, and "Silver Spring" can make me cry.
5) "Tusk" is still one of the coolest things ever.
6) I owe a lot of my formative years to Gordon Sumner, Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers, Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, David Gilmour, and Don Henley. This explains a lot about me, actually.
7) I regret never seeing Pink Floyd live.
