SGA fans--watch this--you have to wait until about a couple of minutes in. Look who it is! It's Chuck, the last-name-deficient tech from 15 years ago. He's playing Keith.

Okay, TV Guide has listed their picks for Sexiest Sci-Fi Stars. I agree with a lot of the choice, but I have to quibble and say that Smallville and Supernatural are NOT sci-fi. Their stars are very pretty, but I get sick of seeing every show that's a little out of the norm listed as sci-fi.

But anyway, three or four notable missing people--obviously they were sticking to the lead actors and actresses--but I'm just impressed they included Barrowman and Flanigan.

***

About V: The Miniseries and V: The Final Battle: This is a long, expansive miniseries from the 1980s. It's not only a sci-fi classic, it's also the fandom I cut my teeth on. It's brilliant, and no sci-fi fan should go without seeing it.

The basic premise of V is this: Fifty huge spaceships suddenly appear in the skies all over the earth. The aliens appear to be human and offer to help humanity cure diseases and all sorts of groovy stuff. But is it too good to be true?

The entire miniseries is on YouTube. This'll get you to the first part, and the other parts are easy to find: V: The Original Miniseries.
