Writing and procrastinating--two peas in a pod

I'm sitting here trying to finish an SG-1 fic, but I'm taking a bit of a break, because Jack O'Neill isn't really cooperating. He needs to make an appearance in this story--a fairly critical one--and I can't decide whether he should come in at Point A or Point B. Must ruminate on it.
