Today, for the first time, one of my students was openly rude to me. That's never happened to me before. Now I feel like crap.

Continuing my last post...

I'm sitting here in my office, really wondering if devoting my life to teaching others is really worth it. I give and give of myself, only to have a student slap me in the face (metaphorically). Sometimes, it seems like too much.
