Does anyone find it odd that if we live in a certain state, we're supposed to have some kind of devotion to our state's major league sports teams--Cleveland Indians for example. Often, there's a high-pitched animosity between our team and some rival state's team. But when you look at the players on said sports team, most or all of them are from places other than Ohio. So in actuality, we're basing state pride on people from somewhere else.
