My day is shot. I'm waiting and have BEEN waiting for the moving consultant since this morning. I could have slept in. I could have done laundry. I could have went out to eat.

Marvel Puts Gay Character Back in the Closet

A while back, I posted a rant about how Joe Quesada, the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics made some homophobic comments about one of their gay characters, the Rawhide Kid. Joe Q then tried to squirm out of his comments by saying:

I loved that Rawhide mini and will always stand by it.

Well, guess what. The Rawhide Kid's outing has been reversed!!! Not only is the character no longer gay, it was "revealed" that the Kid was just pretending to be gay in order to trick the bad guys. WTF?!?!?!

Now, I'm not particularly a fan of the Rawhide Kid, but still, I find it offensive that Marvel would have the balls to out a character, and the take it bad.

All of this is on top of the killing off, writing out, or villanizing of several gay superheroes.
