I just returned from an unfruitful trip to the grocery story. I'm running low on things, so I got on the bus (ew public buses) and headed to my regular grocery store. A couple of weeks ago, they expanded the frozen foods section, so I should have taken that as a harbinger of things to come. I walked into the store and discovered that they were moving things around. My idea of a good trip for groceries is going in, grabbing what I want, and getting out. I don't like to wander around in search of Pop Tarts.

Anyway, there was a MOB of people in the store today. I am not comfortable in crowds. No, scratch that. I don't mind large groups of people in certain settings, like a classroom, for example. In a classroom, people have specific locations assigned for their use, and I can control the environment. In a store, people just mill around aimlessly and clog up the already small aisles.

Well, like I said, the trip was unproductive. Normally, I can get some pretty good sales at that store. This week, they had zilch. I came home with--a package of lunch meat and a box of Fudge Rounds. Big whoop.

Oh, and then, I got on the bus to return, and I had to sit next to some chick. She started cussing, because I sat next to her! I don't particularly like to sit next to people either, but it's public transportation. She needs to get over it. I thought about moving, but to be honest, I sat there a while to annoy her.

Why worry about pittance little things like the homeless, curing diseases, and strengthening the public education system when we can trounce all over the separation of church and state?

Gay Marriage and the Upcoming Congressional Election

Note: The article isn't that good, but I couldn't find one that was significantly more in-depth.
