Mother's Day
May. 14th, 2006 01:47 pmHappy Mom's Day to all the moms and moms-in-waiting out there.
I called my mom today. Calling her is always an event. I love her, but she can be frustrating. She tends to take phone calls as an opportunity to turn the guilt screws and remind me how unsatisfactory she finds her life. I made the mistake of asking her what's going on in her life, and she reminded me that nothing ever goes on in her life, because she never goes anywhere and apparently life remains unchanged day to day in Ashland, while in other parts on the country, it progesses. :/
