What a great episode!! It moved the story along, and had lots of character interaction. And whoa! Isaac got to interact with another hero!!!!

Peter: Peter is definitely the heart of the group. I'm wondering a lot about his future role. Could he be a leader of some sort? Could there be some credence to the theory that Peter = Sylar, and could Future!Hiro have approached Peter to steer him away from the dark side? Personally, I don't believe that theory, but I do think someone will go bad later in the series.

Mohinder: His disillusionment is an interesting development. I'm wondering what will renew his faith in his father's vision. I half-expected to see him get jumped by some Big Bad as he made his way out of town. Knowing him, he'll probably go back to his father's apartment and tell Suspicious Neighbor Lady all about Peter and Isaac and Future!Hiro.

Isaac: Isaac fascinates me, partially because he's a tragic figure who wants to overcome his flaws. He needs a purpose, and he needs someone to believe in him and share his purpose. I'm interested to see him try to paint the future without drugs.

Isaac and Peter: Squeeeee!!!!! I knew they'd have chemistry!!!! Did you notice that Isaac forgot all about his mad-on for Peter about Simone as soon as Peter said he believed in him. Aw.

Matt: I love the way the writers are handling this character. I mean, this is a normal person. He finds out he has telepathy, and he uses it to make inroads with his wife. Sure, he tries to diffuse the situation in the store, but for the most part, he just wants to save his marriage. And I love that he's not sitting around angsting about the fact that he can read minds. He's just going with it.

Hiro: Bummer that Future!Hiro didn't stay around long enough to freak Peter out with dystopian future factoids. :( In any case, I really love Present!Hiro. He's so noble in purpose, but at the same time, he's this fish out of water who doesn't know what do without Ando.

Ando: Aw, poor baby. I felt so bad for him during the scene at Niki's place. Honey, you can do better. I still worry for his safety this season. I suspect that someone will die, and he's a likely candidate.

Ando and Hiro: Aw, they had a lover's spat. :p These actors have such a natural chemistry with each other. I liked their little make-up scene. And the looks they exchanged when Peter told them he had a message for Hiro.

Nathan: I'm liking him more and more and more. Sure, he's an ass. But he does it with such a damn fine grin that I can't help but forgive him. I actually like that he's not particularly noble, and I love that he wasn't passive about the tape. I mean, the man used it to his advantage. That's what I'm talking about. My favorite character in the X-Men is a bitchy guy called Northstar, and interestingly, Nathan has a power very similar to Northstar. Maybe I just have a thing bitchy super-speed flyers. *shrug* I'm really wondering about his wife now. Apparently Nathan has a whole boatload of secrets.

Hiro and Nathan: Did anyone else get excited for Hiro when he saw Nathan fly? They play off each other so well. I think Hiro has a little man-crush on Nathan. "Up up and away!"

Niki At first, I couldn't connect with Niki, and I'm still not sure about her. But I will say that I'm finding her much more sympathetic these days. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole clan--DL, Niki, and Micah interact.

Nathan and Niki: You know, they have a good rapport. I'm not sure that Nathan would be good for her, but she could be good for him.

Mysterious Man: Yeah, his mind-wipe powers are getting gimmicky.

Claire: Claire, honey, don't trust the bad man. I wonder why she's the key? Is it a situational thing? For example, does something happen that might not have happened had she not fallen to a dark fate? Or is it genetic? Perhaps she holds a key to defeating Sylar?

Anywho, I've babbled long enough. This show rocks all over the place.
