Criminal Minds, LOST
Okay, I'm really tired and stressed, so this will probably be more rambly than usual.
Ah! Marshall from Alias is going to be on Ghost Whisperer!!!
Ahem.
I'm still learning about the characters, so don't mind me if I state the obvious. :p At least I knownearly everyone's name.
Thomas Gibson can be so freaking intense without saying a word. I've been wanting to learn a little more about Hotch, gain some insight into what makes him tick. I know there's supposed to be some abuse in his background...
This ep was a nice showcase for the character. First, we find out he's having difficulty at home. I love that he's married, partially because I like Meredith Monroe, and I think she plays off Thomas Gibson really well. But also, I like that he's got a family, because he's a tough guy to read, and when he relates to someone who isn't his inferior, he lets his guard down a bit.
Anyway, I think Hotch might have become my favorite character. I still love Reid, but I find Hotch extremely compelling.
*screams*
Sun/Jin: Okay, I'm a major shipper and a fan of both characters on their own. I love their relationship, because their interaction is so genuine. They obviously love each other, but both Jin and Sun are deeply flawed, and they've done wretched things to each other in the past. The WTF moment of the episode was Sun's lover falling to his death. I read that as meaning Sun followed Jin and killed her lover when Jin couldn't do it. Right?
Sayid: Not up to your usual standard, Sayid. Really, I was ready for him to kick ass. Still, he looked incredible, so I can forgive him for not saving the day.
Sawyer/Kate: First of all, I was so living vicariously through Kate when Sawyer liplocked with her. I love this couple. What bothered me, though, is that once again, Kate was the damsel-in-distress. Hey, let's point a gun at Kate this week! Six people board a boat with Sun trapped inside, and she not only shoots one of her captors, she also escapes. But Kate? No, she just stands there. Why are they writing Kate like this?
Ben: Creepy. So he's been there his whole life? Interesting.
Jack: I'm not liking where his story is right now. I'm not sure what else to say at this point.
