* In this episode, Melinda gets to know Delia (Camryn Manheim's character) a bit better when a house Delia just sold turns out to be haunted. Melinda makes contact with the ghost of a 6-year-old ghost girl, Emily, who drowned in the house's pool. The kid doesn't know she's dead and is waiting for her dad to finish reading her a story.
* This episode was nice, because the contact with Emily and her brother Jake allowed Melinda to deal with the feelings of abandonment she had regarding her own father.
* Another nice thing about this episode was the fact that Jim and Melinda seem to be making some friends as a couple. This show needs a larger supporting cast, so another couple would be a welcome addition.
* I'm liking Delia. She's just a normal woman which, I'm sure, was part of the reason she was cast. I don't know who watches this show, but assuming a lot of the viewers are my gender and age, the producers probably wanted someone with whom we can relate.
* I love the relationship between Melinda and Jim. I've heard rumors that they might kill Jim off at the end of the season. If that happens, it will be a really bad move. They've just killed off Andrea, and if they lose Jim, they lose the main grounding influence for the character.
