Smallville, Supernatural, CSI
* Lots of Lex/Lana angst. Lex is kidnapped by thugs who were trying to discover he manifested the power he had when he was taken over by Zod. Lana goes to rescue him, but is grabbed by the same thugs that kidnapped Lex.
* Additionally, Lana is having issues with Lex's penchance for security cameras. Can't blame her, considering one of the cameras taped her getting undressed.
* Clark caught a cold and started sneezing. This leads him and Chloe to discover his lung capacity. Okay, super-breath is kind of a dorky power, yeah?
* There was a little Clark/Lois interaction, but not enough, considering Lois Lane becomes the love of his life. The writers need to move on Clark's and Lois's relationship, show more of a developing attraction between them.
* Oliiiiivvvvver!!! Oliver Queen made his debut tonight. For those on my flist who aren't comic geeks like yours truly, Oliver Queen is Green Arrow, one of my favorite super-heroes. In the comics, he's a good friend of Clark's. I can't wait to see him meet Clark face-to-face.
* First of all, who else is creeped out by clowns? :o Sam, apparently. :p
* Nice interaction between Sam and Dean. Sam seems to have renewed purpose and wants to belatedly embrace his dad's legacy, while Dean is being stoic.
* I like Ellen.
* So is Ellen's daughter a potential love interest for Dean, or will she turn out to be his sister? I wonder this, because Ellen implied a deeper relationship between her and John. I'd prefer that she be a love interest. Dean needs one.
* "You sound like you saw a clown." :D
* I love carnivals! *gush*
* I think my favorite scene was Dean versus Impala. Jensen Ackles does bottled-up anger and pain so well. I like that the writers aren't just trying to wrap it all up with some kind of Hallmark moment.
* Pretty good episode. I liked tonight's show much better than last week's episode. I could have done without the gore, though. First the sawed-off skulls on Heroes, and now the chainsaw thing.
* Greg's an Eagle Scout... He was probably so gung-ho about earning his merit badges.
* Some nice bits of continuity: Brass mentioning Sam, David's upcoming wedding, Warrick's marriage.
