Upcoming TV Season
Well, after seeing all the pimping for the new season, I'm pretty lukewarm about the new shows. The only three that really grabbed me are:
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: What can I say? Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford (please, someone slash them), Steven Weber, Amanda Peet... Great cast, doable premise.
Smith: Simon Baker is back on TV. That's all that matters.
Jericho: It looks intriguing, and I like Skeet Ulrich. It seems like the kind of show that would have a limited shelf-life, though.
I might change my mind when the season debuts, but at present, those are those only three I'm jazzed about.
I am, of course, looking forward to the new episodes of CSI and CSI: NY. I'm lukewarm on CSI: Miami. After seeing the previews for CSI, I'm psyched. However, I noticed that Nick's hair is missing again. Dammit!
The new season of NCIS and Supernatural look amazing. I'm hoping we get some good character development with Tony on NCIS. I love the character, but sometimes he dances too close to over-the-top goofy.
I WANT to get stoked about LOST, but since they announced the show will take a 13-week hiatus after 6 episodes, I'm having problems with that. A long hiatus right after the season starts makes no sense. Do they WANT it to crash and burn?
By the way, does anyone here watch The Unit. I saw part of an episode, and I'm thinking of jumping on. Is it worth watching?
