So I was over on one of my favorite forums, and some poster started a thread wherein he (?) theorized that comic book/sci-fi writer Peter David would be forced to retire because he's turning 60 this year. A few hours later, Peter David himself comes online and stumbles across the thread. As it turns out, Peter David is not 60. He's turning 50!!!
He was a little offended, I think. I can't blame him. He's turning 50, has a great career, and people are trying to retire him. He left a very snarky reply about how pocket calculators have eroded people's capacity to do even the simplest math. :D
*loves Peter David*
