sheryden: (ats: hugs)
So it's my birthday. Other than the annual card from my aunt and uncle and a few "Happy Birthdays" on Facebook, the entire event was pretty much handwaved my family and real life friends. No phone calls or presents or people wanting to hang out and just be with me. Not even a sliver of acknowledgement from my mother. And to make matters worse, I had to go to someone else's birthday party last week. It's so hard to watch someone else get fussed over when I know that my birth would never get the same kind of attention. Just a phone call from a friend or family member would have made my day. Is it so wrong that I want someone from my life to make me feel special on my birthday?

It's definitely time to leave Ohio.
